High End vs Drugstore Makeup

Hi lovelies! I know this is a topic which is always going around and there's so many articles on it. So I thought why not share my drugstore vs. high end dupes I've found. There's a lot of cosmetic companies out there that make amazing makeup for cheap(e.l.f) and then there are the other extremely high branded products. Over time, I've come across a few products from both sides, which are very similar, the only difference is the price! So I'll make a list below which will also include the prices and links to buy these products.

The one thing that's very difficult to find and figure out is foundation. There are so many different types of foundations out there and you start to question which one will work for you! I have normal to combination skin, it's pretty oily in my T-zone(!!!) and a bit dry on my cheeks. I've been looking for a foundation that won't make my skin look shiny but also give me a nice glow. I swear by my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation, and honestly, that's the only thing that really works for me. It's 100% Oil-free, and it leaves your skin looking absolutely flawless and airy! I've been looking at foundations in the drugstore and I found one that might make the cut also!

Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua $45

Maybelline's Fit Me Foundation $5

For the face I found a pressed powder which I'm absolutely in love with! I'm obsessed with my Chanel Pressed Powder and I didn't think I'd find something similar to it for cheaper(MUCH more cheaper!!)

Chanel's Pressed Powder $45

Wet N Wild Pressed Powder $2

The blush that for sure has been a rave for a while now would be the Nar's Orgasm  I found a dupe for it, for 90% of the cost!

Nar's Orgasm Blush $28

ELF Bronze/Blush Duo $3

Mascara is a must for every beauty queen out there! My lashes are long naturally so I've been looking for something that will give me more volume than length. But I guess I just forgot about that whole part and just was looking for a mascara that showed me a difference. A lot of high brand mascaras cost about $30, while a drugstore brand is about $5. These two are for sure meet the requirements and are so similar!

Le Volume De Chanel $30

Maybelline's Falsies Mascara $5

Ever wonder which gel liner will work for your eyes? Something that won't split or smear, and make your face look like you just had a really bad night? I've been obsessed with gel liner forever now! I can't look at liquid or pencil eyeliner the same now. Gel liner just completely changes your whole eye look! These two are my faves and honestly I think I like the drugstore brand a lot more!

Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils $28
INFALLIBLE 24hr Lacquer Liner $10

There are so many lipsticks out there that's really hard to just find one good one you like. From Satin to Matte, there's a really big variety to choose from. I'll list below Matte and Sheer lipsticks.

Matte lipsticks don't have any shine to them whatsoever. Some tend to be drying, but wear a lip balm before  applying! Almost every cosmetics brand sells matte lipsticks.

Mac's Ruby Woo $15

Elf's Rich Red $3

Sheer lipsticks are great for everyday wear. They're like a tinted lip balm, which leaves a kissable soft tint. I'm obsessed with sheer lipsticks, that's usually my go to in the morning when I'm going to school.

Rouge Coco in #52 Fetiche $32

Maybelline Color Whisperer in Lust For Blush $7.49
Just because something has a higher price doesn't mean it's better than something for a fraction of the cost. I hope this helps you dolls and gives you a better insight as to which products to look out for! Leave questions or comments below for us! :)

Skincare Routine

Hi lovelies!

So I've been getting a ton of messages, comments, and emails asking me how I keep my face looking so clean and flawless. So I thought, why not make a step by step skincare routine! First and foremost, everyone has different kinds of skin, from oily, to sensitive, to very acne-prone. Depending on how your skin is, you have to take measures to get it to look amazing!
My skincare routine is pretty simple. It consists of a cleanser, toner, and a moisturizer  I do exfoliate once a week and follow up with a mask. I'll go into detail about that later.
The one thing that will really help you benefit a lot from your skincare routine is if you stick in the same brand for your whole system. It's even better if you stick in the same line.
I use Loccitane's Imortelle and Brightening System everyday. I also use the Fresh Face Water which is in the Shea line, but can be used for anyone.
The Imortelle line by Loccitane is made with the Imortelle flower, which is known as the "everlasting" flower. The precious oil from this flower is uniquely crafted and put into each of the products made.
These are the main three products I use on the daily:

This is the brightening cleanser, which would be step one. I'm absolutely in love with this product! I used to break out almost every other weak, or have at least one annoying blemish which would leave dark spots all over. Ever since I started using this product, my face has yet to break out. It helps get rid of dark spots and is gentle on your skin. I don't even break out during my monthly friend, which would be the most hectic week ever!

This is one of those products that can be used any time during the day. Being step two, this helps balance the pH level in your skin and helps maintain a nice skin tone, and hydrates your skin while cleaning away all your impurities. I love how it's a nozzle spray, so you don't even have to worry about using cotton pads everyday! Just spray this all over your neck and face and you'll be feeing fresh in no time!

This is like a miracle in a jar. I've tried so many different products, from Chanel to drugstore, to find a moisturizer that would hydrate my skin but not leave it feeling oily. This is my favorite. It gives me the perfect balance between having my skin feel soft and supple without any of the oil! This would be my last step in my skincare routine.

An exfoliator shouldn't be used more than twice a week. Especially if it's abrasive, it can make your skin break out. Always follow up with a mask. This will help close your pores and help in not breaking out. These are my two go to products whenever doing a "mini-facial":

This exfoliator is in the same skincare line as the rest of the products above mentioned, so it will really help you get that glowing flawless look in no time! This helps also with minimizing dark spots!

This has to be one of the most versatile masks ever. You don't even have to take it off! It can be used as a moisturizer and won't leave your skin feeling weird or oily.

It's very important to have a daily skincare routine. I can't stress as to how beneficial it is for your skin, especially when you get older.  Check out a Loccitane near you, or go to the website - Loccitane, and see which skincare line is perfect for you!

Bridal Eyes

Ever go to an Indian/Pakistani Wedding and see how the bride is all dolled up? From their heavy bridal dresses to their jewelry, even their makeup is fab! Today I'll be showing you guys how I did this Indian Bridal look step by step!
Indian Bridal Eyes by Zeba Master
This look was inspired by the gorgeous and intricate bridal dresses seen and worn by the beautiful and stunning Indian and Pakistani brides. The traditional colors worn are usually red and gold, so I incorporated that into this look. Using products found at the drugstore and other brands, it's an easy and affordable look that anybody can pull off!

1. Prime your eyes with an eye primer, I'd suggest e.l.f's Studio Eye Primer and Liner Sealer (Only $3!).
2. Using Maybelline's Color Tattoo Metal in Gold Rush, put it all over the lid.
3. Take a yellow shadow, (I used Princess Jasmine's Storybook Palette), you can use Nyx's Eyeshadow in Yellow Mellow, and put it over the color tattoo.
4. On the crease, using Coastal Scent's 88 Original Palette, use the lower right two colors, and blend them in with a blending brush.
5. On the outer crease, I used Rajah and Arabian Sunset from the Princess Jasmine Storybook Collection. A great alternative would be using the Coastal Scent's 88 Original Palette
6. Blend everything in with a blending brush. The key to this look and to get it looking a bit more subtle is in the blending motion. Going in circular motions, move the colors a bit up.
7. Using any light eye shadow (I used Foxy from the Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay), put it on the brow bone and make sure to blend it properly enough that the red also look blended and smooth.
8. Using a gel liner(I used Loreal's Infallible Gel Liner in Blackest Black), make a straight line going outward. Making an isosceles triangle, pull the top line to your lash line. This will give you the perfect winged liner!
9. With the gel liner, make a smaller isosceles triangle in your tear duct, which will create that perfect arabic eyeliner!
10. Curl your lashes with a lash curler( e.l.f sells them for $1!).
11. Using your favorite mascara, coast your lashes a few times. I used Chanel's Le Voume Mascara in 10 Noir, but a great alternative is Maybelline's Falsies Flared! It's optional if you want to use lashes or not. My lashes are from HauteLashes in Exotic Glamour!(Website is under construction but you can email them at Hautelashes@gmail.com!)
12. Groom and make your eyebrows using any brow pencil of your choice(I used Chanel's Crayon Sourcils in Noir Cendre)
13. Set the look using a setting spray(I used Mac's Fix+) and voila! You're done!

I hope you guys found this step by step eye look easy. If you do have any questions then leave a comment on the bottom below and I'll make sure I answer all your questions!
